Quick Meal – Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage, Cauliflower Rice, & Brussel Sprouts

Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage with Brussel Sprouts and Cauliflower Rice – a quick and easy meal full of juicy sausage and veggies. It’s healthy and delicious, and makes for a great weeknight meal.

For this meal, I used a package of Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage, from Costco but I’ve seen this variety at my local supermarket, Wegmans. It comes in a pack of four and is relatively inexpensive. Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage is incredibly tasty and only contains good, wholesome ingredients. This sausage is considered a staple in our household and we always have some on hand. It has an extremely long shelf date, so they can stay fresh in the fridge for a few weeks after buying it.

We are always on the look out for quick, delicious, healthy meals that are easy to make. This meal certainly fits that mold.

Ingredients:
1 Package Aidells Chicken & Apple Sausage
Brussel Sprouts
Frozen Cauliflower Rice
Frozen Peppers & Onions
Pre-Cooked Bacon Bites

Start by slicing up the chicken sausages into about 1 inch slices. Toss that into a heated skillet with a dash of olive oil. Keep flipping to ensure both sides gets cooked. After the sausage has been cooking for a few minutes, toss in some frozen peppers & onions, and flip occasionally.

Then cut and slice the brussel sprouts. Toss that into a separate heated skillet with a dash of olive oil. After they have been cooking for a few minutes, toss in some pre-cooked bacon pieces. We buy a bag of pre-cooked bacon bites from Costco- it’s perfect for quick meals.

We buy frozen bags of cauliflower rice from Trader Joe’s. Pour the bag into a large heated skilled with a dash of olive oil. Keep stirring to heat through.

We usually layer the ingredients into a bowl and top with green siracha sauce for a little kick.
