friday favorites

Today I am linking up with Erika, Andrea, & Narci for my first installation of Friday Favorites.

ONE

ralph lauren one peice bathing suti

I have been all about the one-piece bathing suits this season. I bought two prior to our Bahamas cruise in March. The first one was a gorgeous cobalt blue one piece by Ralph Lauren that I fell in love with in-store. I bought it two sizes larger than my normal size so the outer layer was a bit longer. I cannot find the second one online but it was a simple black halter one piece suit.

This one is calling my name. The simple black suite with the sweetheart neckline with the subtle flowers, i love it all. I have not seen it in person yet but I will be making a trip to my local Lord & Taylor soon to check it out.

TWO

toms wedges

I recently checked out a new-to-me store, Von Maur. The most important take away is that they have an entire room devoted just to clearance shoes. It is organized by shoe size and the discounted price is shown on the bottom of the shoe. I picked up two booties for $42 total. I scored a pair of Toms Desert Wedge Booties in black which are some of the most comfortable shoes in my closet. I’ve had a taupe pair for a few years now so I was eager to add another color.

The second pair I picked up was a cognac bootie by Josef Seibel. The leather on this boot is as soft as velvet. The height of the heel gives me some extra length but I can still walk around comfortably. I scored these booties for $22. When I got home I found the same exact pair on Nordstrom.com for $175. I could not believe the savings! I called my mom right away with my amazing find. My mom is the ultimate bargain shopper. These are hands down, the most comfortable boots I own!

THREE

We recently got back from a Bahamas cruise and I am already mentally planning our next cruise. We sailed on the Norwegian Breakaway our of New York City with stops in Florida, Nassau Bahamas, and Norwegian’s private island. I 100% recommend the Norwegian Breakaway cruise out of NYC. Stay tuned for a full recap next week.
